Today we’d like to introduce you to Angelina
Hi Angelina, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My journey as a content creator and marketing professional living in Orlando, Florida began in 2019 when I moved here from Tampa to attend UCF. Having come here often for the theme parks growing up, it quickly felt like home and I fell in love with the city as an adult. There’s so much culture, unique experiences and amazing food here. I have always been passionate about photography and videography and as a kid I would take pictures of everything—and even make my own music videos in my front yard. I love capturing food, landscapes, and people, showcasing the beauty of the world with my lens. I studied film and entrepreneurship at UCF and graduated with my Bachelor of Arts in 2022, doing freelance photography and film work throughout my college years. I then went off to work professionally in marketing, which I describe as the combination of creativity and business. In 2024, I started getting more involved in TikTok and began creating content of my fun experiences at restaurants and theme parks in Orlando. I also have been traveling more and love sharing those trips (especially on cruises!) Since starting I have really taken it to heart as a “side hustle” and used it as a creative outlet to explore the city—and the world—and promote various businesses. I’m proud to say that in the past year, I’ve had over 3.1 million views and 257k likes on TikTok! I’m very grateful for this amazing journey and all of the joy Orlando has given to my life.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Being a content creator has its own unique set of challenges. To start, I put a lot of pressure on myself to capture incredible content whenever I’m somewhere unique or beautiful, which means that often times when I’m at a cool place with my boyfriend, friends or family I’m taking videos and pictures. Balancing that can be a struggle because I want to enjoy the experience and spend quality time with my loved ones—but get those amazing shots at the same time. Thankfully the people in my life are very supportive and know that I take my “side hustle” seriously, but it’s still an internal struggle I have where I try to balance time recording with time not recording. I will also specifically go certain places to take content, so that can take time out of my weeknights and weekends, making it feel like I’m working more hours in the week, plus the time spent editing. I truly do enjoy content creation, so that keeps me going.
Another obstacle I face is comparison. I’ve learned there is always going to be other videos that outperform mine or people whose feeds are more aesthetic or whatever the case is—but comparison is the thief of joy. You really have to focus on your work and improving your own skills rather than looking at someone else’s work and feeling down about yourself.
The last challenge I will mention is navigating the “influencer” world. There is a big social media scene in Orlando and really throughout Florida, but I have had little knowledge of how to grow and get offered complimentary opportunities or brand deals. All of my content and things purchased in my videos has been fully paid for by me and/or my boyfriend so far—but it can be hard to keep up sometimes. I put a lot of pressure on myself to hit all the cool spots and try the new pop-ups around town, but it does get expensive. Seeing creators being hosted at these places or given free opportunities for content is inspiring but also mysterious. I had to ask around to figure out how that happens, and luckily other creators I’ve met are very nice and always willing to offer advice. I’ve learned that you have to pitch yourself to brands and let them know you’re interested in working together. It’s a bit strange being a small creator because you don’t know when you are “valuable” enough to ask for free experiences or even to get paid for your social media services. My biggest goal for 2025 is to grow my audience and work with companies to create amazing, unique content. I’m a big advocate for entrepreneurship so I want to promote a lot of local businesses as well. It would be a dream to help local entrepreneurs grow their businesses.

I am a content creator, photographer, videographer and marketing professional based in Orlando, Florida who specializes in food, theme parks, travel, events and lifestyle with blogs on TikTok and Instagram. My passion lies in showcasing unique experiences and opportunities to enjoy life around the state of Florida and beyond.
I am most known for creating montages of incredible dining and event experiences around Orlando. My goal is always to promote the best and coolest places in unique, entertaining ways that help my audience plan their vacations or even meals out and about in our beautiful state. I live by the motto “work hard, play hard” and enjoy living life to the absolute fullest!
I feel the most proud of my work when local business owners thank me for creating content of their location. As a lover of Orlando and advocate for small business, it really warms my heart when people appreciate my content and know that I really do want to help promote their business as well. I feel that is what also sets me apart from others—I see content creation as a mutually beneficial action, and for me it’s not just about growing my page. I love the community and want to help it as much as I can while expressing my creativity through photo and video.

What’s next?
My current plans are to continue working hard creating content, growing my page, meeting other creators, improving my content creation skills and exploring the world further. I also want to work with brands and help promote amazing businesses. All the while advancing my professional career in marketing!
