Hi Ashley, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
Hello lovely people! My name is Ashley I’m 26-year-old small business owner of a AllbeautyA a beauty studio that encourages everyone to feel their most beautiful. I Specialize in Permanent Make up for brows which is a technique that enhances your brows and teeth whitening and teeth gems for right now. Here’s a little back story on me, I grew up in a mostly women ran family that were always big on self-care. I could remember them doing their own brows and them teaching me how to do it on myself. One of my biggest core memories was them finding out I was struggling with myself love and confidence, and they created a whole spa day for me of pampering. I’ll never forget that feeling of specialness. With that being said like many of us that may have struggled with our image I’d always try things out on myself and I’ll always remember hearing my grandma tell me what’s that crazy girl doing now? One of my biggest things was my brows and my smile because my brows would always make me feel insecure growing crazily and at that time, I was going through high school in braces which was a journey on its own. I have been to a million brow specialists experimenting with different ways to achieve the look I desired, till I meet one amazing lady who was a permanent makeup artist who taught me how to do it on myself the right way and after that, I was doing my brows, my mother and all my friends and I fell in love. Then I decided to get my brows done in a semi-permanent technique that’s called ombré powder brows and it changed my life forever and made my brows full and now I wake up every day ready for the day. I then went on to shadow her and learned from her and other pmu artist’s to be able to know the art in full detail. The reason I Fell in love with teeth care it’s because I had the journey of braces and I was always in the dentist chair for check Ups and I Told myself once they were off, I’ll always keep up with them and it was one of my biggest confidence booster throughout my adult life. So, I decided after all of the jobs I’ve had and schooling that I truly wanted to purse my own business. So, speaking my dream out loud and I telling my own esthetician Kayla who owns barebeautystudio before the pandemic in that I wanted to do this, and she encouraged me then she showed me this amazing studio this year next to hers in this brand-new building and I took the leap of faith and I decided to do this. I got my LLC and moved in by March of this year I opened up and thus far it’s been such an amazing journey, of course, there’s obstacles but I’ll say always follow your dreams and your heart and a path will be made for you. I ultimately want to give that core memory feeling I had and give a self-care day to all of us.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I feel like starting any small business has never been easy it’s a self-awarding journey. I Dealt with a lot of self-doubt and that made me hesitant to start but having so many people truly believe in me and help me show what I already had within me gave me that push I needed. Starting from scratch was not easy but family and others in the community has helped me the most and it’s been so rewarding to see how many people actually support you without me even having to ask. My daily reminder to myself is to know it will never be easy but at the end of the day it’s what I know is for me.

I specialize in more than one beauty technique; I like to say jack of multiple trades. I am a Permanent Makeup artist that focuses on brows such as microblading, ombré powder brows, and combo brows. I will eventually move onto other permanent techniques. I as well do teeth whitening and teeth gems adding a whiter smile and jewelry to your teeth. My most known statement would be for teeth gems I Offer 18k gold gems in different styles and I love adding to your smile. I am most proud of how far I’ve came with this whole journey and how many people I’ve made happy already. I have taken in-depth multiple training to make sure I can help every single person in every way I can and I plan on furthering adding more services to make sure I can make everyone feel great in any way possible, I want everyone to feel like I’m their safe space to vent and get pampered.

In my personal life, I love to read books that help with overall mental health and self-learning tools. One of my favorite books are You Are A Badass. In my work life, I Follow a lot of other Pmu artists who give out their advice as well take some of their virtual training because products, techniques, and rules update constantly. Same with teeth whitening my mentor helps me a lot and others that specialize in it. I always stay updated with blogs with what’s happening new in the beauty world. The biggest thing I make sure to do is stay updated with the Health Department. Overall, I’ll say always follow and keep up with those who inspire you to be great.
