Today we’d like to introduce you to Brandon Padilla.
Hi Brandon, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started out my technical career soon after leaving the military. Having been in the U.S Army Infantry, I didn’t transition into the civilian world with any real skills. I used my G.I Bill to go to an Electrical Trade school where I learned electrical theory as well as electrical construction, and began working as an electrician for a few local electrical contractors.
After about 7 years of working on numerous construction projects and having worked as a service electrician I decided I wanted to go on my own, but not as an electrical contractor but more into a niche field. I’ve always enjoyed Home Theater, being a movie and TV show binger myself, and I thought to myself, “This could really be an awesome business”!
After a long day of work, during parties and get togethers, when you want to retreat and relax, where do you go? You go and cozy up by your favorite TV! So why not create a one of a kind experience right where you spend most of your day?
This was my thinking going into it. I gave it a shot and never looked back. After long days and had work I’ve finally been able to establish myself as Central Florida Premier TV Mounting Company!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I can honestly say that its been a pretty smooth transition. I think the biggest challenge is creating presence and putting yourself in front of customers. Getting known and having word of your good work go around is tough starting out. I’m in a very niche market and I have to search high and low to find my target audience.
Thankfully, I’ve surrounded myself with other entrepreneurs in different industries that share similar struggles and we’ve created a network of sharing information on what works and what doesn’t. We’ve been able to save ourselves a lot of groundwork by sharing individual experiences.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
So I specialize in providing a one of a kind home theater experience! We mount TVs but we go further than just putting a TV set on a wall. We provide secure mounting, complete wireless installations that enhance all living spaces in a home as well as custom Audio Visual solutions.
I am most proud of the relationships I’ve built with my customers. Anyone can mount a TV on a wall, but very few can create an experience for a customer. The attention to detail, the way were able to take in customer ideas and translate it into exactly what they were dreaming of!
What sets us apart is our service to our customers. We don’t believe in “Take the money and Run”. We believe in true customer service and customer satisfaction. We take pride in our work, and we always stand by it even long after the job is done. The communication is key, the trust our customers have in us what makes us great!
We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
I would have to say that I genuinely get excited about every single install I do. To most, it must seem like a monotonous task but I get so much satisfaction from working on an installation that wows my customer. I think its looking at the final product and my customers’ reactions that do it for me haha.
