Check Out Brittany Eady’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brittany Eady.

Hi Brittany, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I consider myself, the Courage Queen. In 2012, left my hometown. My comfortable place and relocate miles away. That was when my courageous life started.

I walked away from an engagement with a wedding date that was 4 months away. Literally, was the most courageous thing I’ve ever done. I felt publicly humiliated and shame tried to attach itself to me. #Courage reminded me that I was okay. It was the reassurance that I can do what I was scared to do.

Two months after my “wedding date,” I got a promotion on my job & a month later, I closed on my FIRST house. What if I never found the #Courage to do what scared me? What if I gave in to what “looked” good for a world that I couldn’t run to? What if I allowed shame to attach itself to my name? I encourage you today to find your #Courage and walk in that. Your life will thank you for it.

“The biggest tragedy in life is not telling a lie but living one.” It takes courage to live your truth in a world full of not enough and perfection but “I ain’t NEVER scared!” I know at my core my heart is genuine. Sometimes, my pure intentions backfire. Oftentimes, I’m left hurt to try to put two & two together but as I got older I got wiser. Wisdom says, LET IT GO. There’s nothing that catches God by surprise. He’s the God that KNOWS it all.

And no matter how deep I am in it, “There’s no shadow you won’t light up. Mountain you won’t climb up. Coming after me there’s no wall you won’t kick down a lie you won’t tear down Coming after me!” And I love that for me!

The Courageous Collection by CarCouraged is more than just merchandise. It’s a message. There’s something that God put in us that gives us the ability to always, through everything, get back in the game – every time & that’s COURAGE. It’s not our strength but God’s strength and through Him, we can do all things.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not always been a smooth road. I’ve struggled with low self-esteem, comparison, people-pleasing, and a list of other things that come with obeying God. I wasn’t able to FULLY walk in my purpose until I realized who I was in God.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am, by trade, a Pharmacy Manager. I’ve been in Pharmacy since I graduated from high school. I am also the owner of CarCouraged – a faith-based business where I encourage people from my car.

My clients know me as “Ms. Brittany.” I’m a Kid’s Mobil Stylist.

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
In the next 5-10 years, I see myself encouraging people around the world through courage & transparency. I aspire to open a Kids Salon & The Courageous Collection Clothing Store.
