Check Out Candi Bryan’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Candi Bryan. Them and their team share their story with us below:

Candi Bryan has a passion for women’s ministry.

She has facilitated a national prayer group for 14 years that grew to become a non-profit called RENEW. It stands for reaching every need for every woman. RENEW cares for the basic needs of women and helps them grow in their faith walk.

In 2016, Candi was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. Following chemo, double mastectomy, radiation, and reconstruction Candi turned the process into purpose by hosting and producing her own show called ”The Good Morning Show”, an inspirational podcast and now Livestream on Facebook. In 2018, Candi released her first women’s devotional called ”PEACE & HOPE in the Midst of Cancer”.

In 2019, Candi stepped out of her comfort zone to compete in Ms. Corporate America and won 1st place. She has spent 21 successful years in corporate America with the same company, in Sales and Project Management. The pageant has given her a platform to make an impact in the community.

Candi has an MBA from the University of Phoenix and is a proud UCF Knight grad and business coach; she earned a BA in Broadcast Communications. She also earned a certificate from Cornell University in Women’s Entrepreneurship. Candi is a mom to her wonderful daughter who inspires her to live every day to the fullest!

Candi is excited to be an advocate for women and breast health. She is a volunteer for Compassionate Hands & Hearts Breast Cancer Outreach. She is also the co-founder of The Warriors Brunch with Emmy-winning journalist Vanessa Echols. Overall Candi’s journey had taught her resilience, reliance on God, and the importance of having healthy relationships and support systems.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Several surgeries and procedures during the cancer battle were hard to endure. In addition, Candi lost her mom unexpectedly in 2018 and went through a divorce after beating cancer in 2020. There are always challenges in life but faith is Candi’s safety net every time.
