Check Out Chloe Grant’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Chloe Grant.

Hi Chloe, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start, maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers.
When I was around twelve years old, I was gifted my first camera. I became incredibly fascinated with capturing moments with the people I love. Savoring a moment from my perspective allows me to go back to that place and time and remember all the emotions. I kept this passion as I entered high school and took portraits for friends, leading my high school’s yearbook team as Photographer and Editor. Seeing how quickly I, and my close friends, have grown up created an urgency to capture the everyday moments that pass us by all too quickly.

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Yes, and no. I have been incredibly blessed to have family and friends who are supportive. From booking photo sessions to sending words of encouragement to saying prayers, they have kept me on track and pushed me to be better. Starting and sustaining a business is no small feat, but keeping Jesus at the center and always coming back to my “why” has kept me grounded through all the sleepless nights and difficult times.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I consider myself to be a natural light, story-telling family and motherhood photographer. My mom is the most important and influential person in my life, and the love between a mother and her child is my favorite to capture. Every family has their own story, how they got started, the love and the loss, and everything in between. Creating portraits that convey these emotions has allowed me to witness beautiful stories and share in the love. My big heart leads all of my shots, but the testimonials I receive are what keep me going. My clients have shared intimate details regarding their feelings following our time together, and my heart is full, knowing I have captured a moment for them to enjoy for years to come.

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
I’m quite reserved, and I always have been. I prefer to listen rather than to speak, observing those around me and taking it all in. Definitely, someone who pours into others and feels happiness when others are happy. I love to create, especially visual arts, to travel, and to move! I’m an athlete and an artist, so I’ve met a broad spectrum of people. I enjoy human connection and developing deep, meaningful bonds.
