Check Out Cyndiana Edmond’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Cyndiana Edmond.

Cyndiana, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
If I’m honest I’m not quite sure what got me started but I was compelled to share my fitness journey and my interest.

My channel originally started as a fitness channel but because of my bubbly personality and interest, it quickly expanded to my other interests, like fashion and lifestyle. I found I enjoy to process of creating content (ie. filming, editing) and most importantly creating a community that I proudly call my sunshine.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
It definitely was not a smooth road. I struggled with hyper focusing on the numbers; number of views, watch time etc. but what got me through that was realizing how proud I was of the content I was putting out, whether it reached hundreds of people or one. I knew what I created was positive.

I also struggled with being camera shy at the beginning of my channel which I slowly overcame because of how supportive my community has been and allowed my personality to show. I’m also a full time student with a goal of becoming a sports medicine nurse hence my love for fitness. I had a hard time finding a balance with my time and that’s improved as I learned what to prioritize.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a content creator. My videos are meant to help people, it’s the thing I’d say I’m most proud of because my sunshines can see that. I’m known for my personality and positive outlook on life, people see it radiating through my content.

We’re always looking for the lessons that can be learned in any situation, including tragic ones like the Covid-19 crisis. Are there any lessons you’ve learned that you can share?
My biggest takeaway during the covid-19 crisis was to prioritize self-care and self-growth. I figured I was given the time to better myself and I did.

I took it as time for improvement, in my health, mental health and growth and I appreciate what it allowed me to do.

My YouTube began around that time and I was given time to focus my attention on that which I’m grateful for.
