Today we’d like to introduce you to Damaris Vazquez.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Everybody loves to call me “La chica viajera”

Which translates to woman traveler. From a young age, my parents started taking me on all types of vacations, from cruises docking off at different islands to always going back to the motherland (Puerto Rico) to now present day to have been able to travel to various countries! I always give thanks to my parents & my continued love of traveling for the woman that I am today. With my love of traveling, it has pushed me to become a digital creator on social media & showing my audience the beautiful adventures that are out there in the world & inspire people to open up their minds live life to the fullest. To even creating lifestyle content as to what I’m using day to day all the way to enjoying funny dance challenges.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road has not been smooth with having family & friends thinking I’m wasting my time with doing videos for social media & traveling to different places. Having them tell me my to use my bachelor degree for a normal 9-5 job. To also struggling with Impostor syndrome & thinking I’m not good enough.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m very proud to say I am digital content creator, creating various types videos & photos for TikTok, Instagram & YouTube, known as misslatinavocado. The content ranges from day-to-day vlogs, inspiration videos, travel videos, food reviews, get ready with me videos to funny dances challenges. What sets me apart from others is my way of not just posting to post but posting meaningful content and posting content that I enjoy making & looking back at it. What I am most proud of is having people come up to me & tell me that my content has inspired them to look at life differently, to try something new & to even love them self-more.

So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
What matters to me most is enjoying life to the fullest and not caring what anybody says because at the end of the day life goes by so fast & before you know it, years have passed!
