Check Out Debbie Kamp’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Debbie Kamp.

Hi Debbie, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My journey in photography began during my high school and college years, where my passion for the craft blossomed. Following graduation, I was accepted into the prestigious Disney Advanced Internship program as a Photopass Photographer. This opportunity with the Walt Disney Company provided me with invaluable experiences, including being part of multiple opening teams at various parks, participating in test locations and photo shoots, and undergoing extensive training to hone my photography skills.

After my time at Disney, I transitioned into other career paths but continued my love for photography, exploring various genres such as theme park, nature, pet, and macro photography.

It was during my tenure with a real estate agency that I took the initiative to revamp their real estate photography efforts. Faced with the challenge of mastering high-quality photography, I approached it with determination and perseverance, refusing to settle until I achieved the desired results. I remain committed to ongoing learning and refinement, constantly seeking to enhance my skills in the field.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I wouldn’t say it’s been a completely smooth road—like most creative journeys, it’s had its fair share of challenges. One of the biggest hurdles I face is my own perfectionism. I hold myself to an extremely high standard, which means I can be incredibly critical of every photo I edit. I often spend countless hours in front of a screen, tweaking the smallest details to make sure every image is just right. There are times when I ask myself, Is this level of effort really worth it?

But then, I hear from a client who’s thrilled with how their home looks, or who tells me my photos helped them get more bookings or sell faster. That kind of feedback always reminds me why I do what I do. In those moments, the late nights and extra effort feel completely justified. For me, striving for perfection isn’t just about aesthetics—it’s about delivering value and making sure my clients feel proud of how their space is represented.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a Central Florida real estate photographer specializing in high-quality imagery that helps properties stand out—whether they’re homes for sale, vacation rentals, or beautifully designed interiors. My clients include real estate agents, interior designers, builders, and vacation rental owners who understand the power of great visuals when it comes to making an impact.

In addition to photography, I offer a full suite of services to elevate every listing: virtual staging, twilight photography, video walkthroughs, floor plans, and branding photos. My goal is to provide not just beautiful images, but a complete visual marketing package that helps my clients attract the right buyers or guests and ultimately meet their goals faster.

Right now, I’m especially focused on helping vacation rental owners and hosts create scroll-stopping content that gets attention online. With the market becoming more competitive, standing out visually has never been more important. I’m constantly refining my style and offerings to keep up with trends and give each property its own personality and story.

What are your plans for the future?
One of my main goals this year is to grow my network of real estate agents, brokerages, and property managers. I’m focusing on building strong, consistent relationships through quality service and reliable turnaround times.
Expanding from a solo operation to a small team, allowing me to cover more ground, offer faster service, and handle larger-scale projects, is one of my long-term goals.
