Today we’d like to introduce you to Dj Nothin Nice.
Hi Dj Nothin, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
When I was younger my mom had me around music even in her belly I was around music (mostly church services). From that point, I began to play the drums and look at different instruments and sounds on tv from musicals, in which my mom had me in around different types of music and people at a young age. I developed a passion for music and it increased year after year as I began to get older. From being in the choir to whatever my mom could get me involved in as far as music was concerned I was into it. The day I saw my Uncle Tony (R.I.P) practicing djing music amazed me once again. I was listening to all music because the only fault I saw that my Uncle had was that his passion was very subjective. I wanted to be around all cultures and people especially when it came to music. My journey through music from djing while in the military to having my own radio station has allowed me to meet great people and I wouldn’t change anything about it, because I would be Dj Nothin Nice
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Even at the point, I am at right now, there will always be struggles, but that is the fun part about it. Being about to go through adversity and make it through what I like to call “daily tests” only made me person stronger and more determined. From sacrificing time, money, and tears on a daily to paperwork and legal stuff making sure everything is lined up with regulations.
