Hi DJ, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Before getting into media production, for 10 years, I was a Secondary (Defensive Backs) football coach and absolutely loved watching film. Going through and cutting film was apart of my daily routine and that’s what initially sparked the interest in editing footage. In 2019 I had the opportunity to work for a local video production company, and that was my first experience being around cameras. From there I absolutely fell in love with the art of film and began to pursue a career in digital marketing a couple of years later.
Today, we are a full-service Central Florida based media production company that specializes in cinematography and digital marketing. We are dedicated to creating cinematic visuals that help small businesses, professionals, and entrepreneurs stand out from the crowd.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It’s certainly been far from a smooth road. Launching in 2020 came with its own unique set of challenges, given the climate of the country at the time. Still, I chose to see that season not as an obstacle, but as an opportunity for a fresh start. I leaned into storytelling through my lens, believing deeply in the power of visual narratives.
Learning to master a camera can feel overwhelming, but when you’re truly passionate about something, curiosity becomes your fuel. That passion kept me exploring, experimenting, and pushing forward. Every setback became a lesson, every challenge revealed more about my craft, my business, and myself.
Looking back, the struggles weren’t roadblocks—they were steppingstones, preparing me for the next level. Each one shaped my growth and guided me toward the vision I’m still building today.

We are a full-service Florida-based media production company, specializing in cinematography and digital marketing. We are dedicated to creating cinematic solutions that help small businesses, real estate professionals, and entrepreneurs stand out.
At Koach Media, our passion lies in telling authentic stories that connect, inspire, and elevate brands. Whether it’s a product launch, property showcase, or personal brand story, we capture each project with a creative eye and a genuine approach.
I’m most proud to work with small businesses in helping them tell their story and achieve their goals via visual storytelling and marketing. As a Marshall University Business Marketing major, strategies for content application also come natural through our lens.
In today’s world, companies cannot simply rely on the ‘quality’ of their product and/or service to stay relevant and memorable. It is now all about effective content strategies and pertinent storytelling to connect and keep your audience engaged.
We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
My most cherished childhood memories are of traveling with my mother and spending quality time with family. Those experiences showed me early on that family isn’t just important—it’s everything.
