Check Out Francesca Tarantino’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Francesca Tarantino.

Hi Francesca, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
When I was growing up my mom and dad played music constantly. I started singing along to the songs they were playing and quickly became a classic rock fan. I sang all the time but at some point, I didn’t want to sing in front of anyone, not even my parents. Then, right before my 8th birthday we moved to Florida and my new school had musical theatre and singing lessons. My mom signed me up and my new vocal coach gave me some great pointers that helped me get over my stage fright. I stayed in Musical Theatre for 5 years and had so much fun, but I missed singing those classic rock tunes i grew up with and I really wanted to learn how to play the guitar! So, I started guitar lessons too and then I decided to make the transition to artist! 2023 I released my first original song and since then I put out 8 others. I play out live frequently now and I’m having the best time!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Definitely not a smooth road! Lots of self doubt and worrying about what people thought of me. Plus, being a young girl playing guitar always got me some looks. I had to overcome being solo on stage and really had to shed my insecurities. I just wanted to keep getting better and that’s what kept me going! Getting better and having fun along the way and never taking myself too seriously.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
