Today we’d like to introduce you to Franklin Muñoz Jr..
Franklin, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
As the result of a immigrate Father & Faith-Based Mother, I was taught values from a foreign country (The Dominican Republic), that has allowed me to have success. But as I continued to mutare I started to value more significance over success.
As a PennState University graduate, I valued more applying what I learned to action, than to knowledge. My Faith in Jesus Christ anchoring me more, as I got older, taught me to value more the impact on & in others, rather just finding out how to become successful alone.
With my degrees of Business Management & Marketing, I had the privilege of working in many different industries, essentially falling for Education. It was an industry that allowed me to be an instrument of blessing, to be able to impact the next generation.
Now, I have the honor of serving Kissimmee, FL as the Metro Director of an AMAZING Non-Profit: Fellowship of Christian Athletes (aka FCA).
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, it has not been a smooth road. If it were a smooth road I wouldn’t have valued the destination I’m currently at.
Some of the struggles along the way were:
1. Finding mentors in my area or social circles
2. Individuals who wanted to pour into me, without being intimidated about being replaced
3. Honoring a single parent dwelling
4. Understanding you have to be healed in order to heal others
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
What do you do?
– I serve my community by not just being in it, but being apart of it. I lead a team of Disciples that help develop Integrity, Serving, Teamwork, and Excellence within Coaches & Athletes all over the county. We lead every Coach and Athlete into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church.
What do you specialize in?
– I specialize in being a student of life & mentee, in order to be an impactful influencer. I can only teach as far as what I’m willing to learn. Mobilizing & adding value to individuals, in order for them to discover their purpose.
What are you known for?
– I am known for the impact & the life style I live as a Husband, Dad, & Minister of the Gospel.
What are you most proud of?
– What I am most proud of is my wife & children. The fact, that God has allowed me to cover these Master Pieces & call them my family, has no price & unmeasurable value.
What sets you apart from others?
– What sets me apart from others is that I am the same person in every space. I believe that Righteous people don’t allow environment to impact them, but they impact their environment. Being intentional that people know that they aren’t just viewed, but seen.
How do you think about luck?
Luck: good or bad; has had no role in my life.
But Prayer has, Faith has, Love have played a role in my life.
Things in life may try to convince you that your missing out, hence why we are always living for tomorrow. We exist today, trying to live for tomorrow. You learn that God was never hiding things FROM you, but hiding things FOR you. For the right time, when you would know how to value & steward it.
So enjoy the journey, learn the instruments God has for you, in order to sustain the destination He has for you.
