Check Out Holly Davis’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Holly Davis.

Hi Holly, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Growing up, I was a very creative but introverted child especially after my father suddenly left us Earth side. I joined the military, traveled, studied in college, then had an enjoyable career in framing art. I became pregnant and began branding my art services and acquiring jobs hanging and installing art in Central Florida. Upon entering motherhood, our children inspired me to paint again. Not just to pursue my natural expression, but encourage others to. I began developing a platform while raising and homeschooling our children and Holly Davis Art evolved into summer camps, paint & sips, co-op art instruction and meditative art for peace and mindfulness. Currently I am mural painting and guiding others to express and heal through the creation of art.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The struggle in the art field is finding your niche and using the challenges as an opportunity for growth. Having confidence despite setbacks or negative feedback is paramount in this industry. I have learned that in creativity, our breakdowns lead to breakthroughs. Hence why I have found ways to converge art and healing.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My art encompasses a love for nature and a desire to bring people back to health, peace and serenity. I specialize in commissions of all sizes, commercial and residential murals that bring a sense of harmony and unity.
I enjoy working with wellness and hospitality industries as well as veterans like myself.

Do you have recommendations for books, apps, blogs, etc?
