Check Out Howard Zinhagel’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Howard Zinhagel.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My whole life has revolved around music ever since I was a kid. I was a woodwinds player that played flute and saxophone in middle school, performing and competing in band competitions. 2014 I attended my first festival “Life in Color”. Immediately I was hooked to the scene and the music. Being completely blown away by the music, my immediate thought was, “I NEED TO BE A DJ.” I started attending more shows and festivals with ULTRA forever changing my life. Passing by the techno stage there he was, Carl Cox, playing music I never really heard before. Techno literally became my identity. I am now a Dj/ Producer currently residing in Central Florida.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
In the beginning it was always difficult since I didn’t know my sound. I didn’t know where to start, plus going through certain situations in my life really put a hold on my mental well being causing me not to develop and hone my skills. It has taught me perseverance, determination and discipline. I know exactly the vision I am chasing now and I will acquire it.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
So my name is Howard “Howiezi” Zinhagel and I am a Dj/ Producer. I produce and play my own music which I really pride myself on. I produce and dj mostly techno and house music all around Florida. I like to create music with perfectly crafted kick drums and catchy melodies built and crafted around the drums. My sound is finally gaining momentum and popularity here and overseas! I’ve been working extremely hard on my craft, progressing little by little everyday.

Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
Everyone close around me knows I love to take risks. I believe in “No Risk = No Reward”. To achieve a goal there’s always going to be a risk. To me that’s the part that makes it exciting. Chasing the goals and knowing what it takes to get to where you want to be. Always believe in yourself. You can do it.
