Hi Jamie, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Amazing Explorers is a pioneer in the STEAM curriculum development and testing for Early Childhood industry. Science is the foundation of children’s learning about their world. At a young age, children need time and encouragement to explore, investigate and learn in natural ways. Aligned with science, we integrate mathematics, technology and engineering.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
COVID has certainly made things more challenging as we are growing and expanding. The industry is struggling as a whole, but we provide ourselves on providing top-notch child care and employing only the best teachers to help each child thrive, learn and of utmost priority, have fun!

Amazing Explorers Academy fosters a nurturing environment where little minds open up to develop lifelong learning skills designed to inspire, connect and engage the great minds of the 21st century.
The Amazing Explorers concept was developed by a task force of leading thinkers in a diverse range of fields, including university professors, technology experts and community leaders who helped identify the new challenges facing the early childhood industry and the need to introduce 21st Century skills when young explorers are open to learn about the world around them.
Amazing Explorers offers a proprietary STEAM curriculum that integrates science, mathematics, technology and engineering. STEAM is essential for a 21st Century Education. Our STEAM curriculum and hands on implementation sets us apart from other daycares and preschools by engaging children‘s curiosity and sparking their interest to learn 21st-century skills.
Amazing Explorers promotes healthy lifestyle for a lifetime, in partnership with Nemours Children’s Health System. We have an exclusive partnership with Nemours at our Lake Nona location where the interns visit the school for an entire day during their rotation at Nemours Hospital. They get to experience hands on what children typical behaviors are like to understand further in their schooling. The interns truly enjoy their day with us engaging with the children.
Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
Managing people whether it be teachers, children or families, is one of the hardest tasks in our business and requires an individual with emotional intelligence and patience who is willing to learn and adapt.
