Today we’d like to introduce you to Jaylene Brown.
Hi Jaylene, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My daughter, Jaylene, turned six in August, and we’ve embarked on an exciting journey to explore the world together. Our adventure began with a birthday trip to London, where she delighted in experiences like the Peppa Pig bus tour and visits to iconic landmarks such as Buckingham Palace and Elizabeth Tower. We wanted her to learn about different places and cultures firsthand. In October, we continued our travels to Paris. This trip was special because she’d been learning about Parisian monuments, and she got to see them in person, try new foods, and even visit Disneyland Paris.
Jaylene has also had the unique opportunity to connect with her roots. She visited Belize, where her dad is from, experiencing the local lifestyle with family and enjoying the beautiful Cayes, which are small islands in Belize.
In the Dominican Republic, where my side of the family is from, Jaylene has immersed herself in the vibrant culture. She explored the historical Colonial Zone in Santo Domingo, with its rich history and architecture. Additionally, she visited Altos de Chavón, a charming replica of a 16th-century Mediterranean village offering stunning views and cultural activities. Jaylene also had the chance to explore Los Tres Ojos, an intriguing series of limestone caves with natural pools, perfect for adventure and learning.
Our Instagram page is all about inspiring families with children to embrace travel. We aim to show that traveling with kids is more manageable than it seems and incredibly rewarding. Our goal is to expose children to new experiences and cultures, helping them relate to diverse groups and settings. Travel builds knowledge that children can incorporate into their school settings and beyond.
As a mom, I want Jaylene to enjoy the beautiful lifestyle that comes with traveling and learn from every experience. We plan to continue exploring new destinations and sharing what families can do with their children in these wonderful places. Through our page, we hope to encourage other families to embark on similar journeys of discovery and growth.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The journey hasn’t always been smooth, but it’s been incredibly rewarding. One of the challenges we’ve faced is managing travel logistics while ensuring that Jaylene remains engaged and comfortable. Traveling with a young child requires careful planning, from selecting child-friendly accommodations to ensuring she has activities that keep her entertained on long flights or during waiting times. Initially, balancing these logistics with maintaining a consistent content schedule for our Instagram page was challenging. We overcame this by creating a flexible travel itinerary that goes along with her school vacations that included both structured activities and downtime. This approach allowed Jaylene to rest and recharge, making her more enthusiastic about exploring new places. We also started involving her in planning our trips, which increased her excitement and engagement.
By learning to adapt our travel plans to suit Jaylene’s needs, we’ve been able to enjoy our adventures and share authentic experiences with our audience. This flexibility has become one of our strengths, making each trip more enjoyable and memorable for our family.

We are passionate about creating enriching travel experiences for our family and inspiring other families to do the same through our Instagram travel content. We specialize in showcasing how traveling with young children can be both manageable and deeply rewarding, emphasizing cultural immersion and learning. We are known for our ability to seamlessly blend educational experiences and fun activities, ensuring that Jaylene not only enjoys her travels but also gains knowledge and insights from them.
What sets us apart is our focus on authentic storytelling. We strive to present a genuine picture of what traveling with a child looks like, including the joys and the challenges. This transparency helps other parents see that while there are hurdles, the rewards far outweigh them.

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
The most important lesson we have learned along our journey is the value of flexibility and adaptability. Traveling with a young child has taught me that things don’t always go as planned, and that’s perfectly okay. Embracing spontaneity and being open to change has allowed us to discover unexpected joys and unique experiences that we might have missed if we were rigid in our plans. This flexibility has enriched our travels, making each trip a unique adventure. It’s also taught me to appreciate the small moments and to see the world through Jaylene’s eyes. This lesson extends beyond travel and into everyday life, reminding us to be present and adaptable in all that we do.
