Check Out Jeffrey Marston’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jeffrey Marston.

Hi Jeffrey, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
I was born in New Jersey but have lived in Central Florida for almost 30 years. I have 2 sisters and very supportive parents that have always pushed me to be myself and go for my dreams. Growing up, my grandfather has always been my inspiration. He was an architect and a very successful businessman. As a kid, one of my favorite memories was my grandfather showing me all of his sketches and explaining the ins and outs of developing a project. He was always such a huge part of my upbringing and really helped me focus on my goals. I always wanted to be just like him. I met my now husband in 2016, and we got married in 2019, His support has truly pushed me to get me to where I am today. We adopted a beautiful baby girl November 2021 and are proud and dedicated fathers to our daughter. Everything I do is for my family, and they are my core inspiration.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
It has not always been a smooth road. I have had many obstacles growing up, but all have really helped me gain personal worth and confidence to never take no for an answer.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
My initial passion was in the Hair/Beauty industry. At 18 years old (2005), I began working in a salon. My mom was a hairstylist, and my older sister does hair was well, so it was always in my blood. I opened a salon in 2018 and have been blessed with an amazing and talented staff. I recently retired from doing hair and now just focus on running the business. This has allowed me to also have the time to dedicate to my other passion in real estate. I have always wanted to do real estate but feel now is the perfect time in my life to pursue it.

Risk-taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
I have always been a risk taker. At a very young age I was always determined to be able to support myself financially and live on my own. Right after high school I moved out into my own place and managed to work and go to school 6 days a week. After years of staying focused and saving I was able to purchase my first home. I flipped the house, did all the construction on my own, and used the profit to open my current business. Opening a business was the biggest risk I have taken but has been such a blessing. It has really shown me that hard work pays off. I believe with all risks; if you truly believe in what you’re doing, you will be rewarded.
