At the tender age of 12, Jeka embarked on her artistic journey with poetry, a passion she initially didn’t take seriously. However, her older cousins, who were musicians themselves, recognized her hidden talents and encouraged her to explore the world of music, leading to her transformation into a multi-genre artist.
Alright, let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what challenges have you had to overcome?
It has been a journey of hills and valleys. A lot of the struggles along the way were mainly battling self-doubt. Asking myself questions like, “Am I supposed to be doing this ?’ And what is my why behind it all?

Jekasole is a dynamic powerhouse multi-genre singer/songwriter/hip-hop artist born and raised in Miami, FL. From 2020 – present, Jekasole has released countless singles, Separation Anxiety, Paid in Full, 225, TIME FR, etc.; her music promotes hope and resilience in overcoming every obstacle within her faith walk. Jekasole’s message remains constant: Hope has a name, and it is Jesus. The key is progression and not perfection.
What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
When asked about the most important qualities that have contributed to her success, Jeka emphasizes the value of integrity, Self-confidence, and honesty. She also highlights the importance of maintaining an open mind, always ready to learn something new, a trait that has been instrumental in her journey.
