Hi, Justina; thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, you could tell our readers some of your backstory.
After many years in the corporate world, I found myself feeling unsettled. It was a co-worker who saw a different path for me, one as a cosmetic chemist in the beauty industry. At first, it was just a thought, a possibility. But with time and determination, that thought became my reality.
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Like anything, my career as an Esthetician has had ups and downs. Some were easy to navigate, and others changed the course of my path. Overall, this has led me to meet all of the expectations I’ve set for myself.
Thanks – so, what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a licensed Advanced Aesthetician with 15 years currently in the industry. I hold many licenses and certificates and am currently enrolled in a University to further my education and career goals. As a licensed aesthetician, I treat clients for all their skin issues and concerns. As a bi-production of that, I can change lives emotionally and mentally by promoting healing. I am known for giving the gift of relaxation and inspiration. My clients always feel refreshed and recharged. I am most proud of my impact on my clients when they feel rejuvenated. What sets me apart is my understanding of the metaphysical aspects a facial can provide. While it seems so superficial to some, it can be life-changing for others.
We’d like to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you.
When it comes to success, I don’t believe in luck. It’s about hard work, determination, perseverance, and passion. Every step I’ve taken in my career has been a result of my dedication and love for what I do. This, not luck, has allowed me to grow and thrive.
