Check Out Kaleb Morris and Sara Webb’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kaleb Morris & Sara Webb.

Hi Kaleb & Sara, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My fiancé Sara walked into the shop just after it opened looking for a gift for me, and met the man who would become our business partner and friend. He was looking for a partner to build a business together so she suggested me to him. What was supposed to be a 20-minute conversation a few days later turned into over an hour of honest business talk and connection. We had such like minds and similar life experiences that it was like a perfect match. From that point on everything seemed to fall into place. He manages all the financial while I run the everyday needs and I’m the face of the business. My fiancé joining the team wasn’t always part of the plan but as we all known beside every successful man is his supportive partner. Contrary to popular belief we have proven that a couple can be a successful sales team without letting personal affect the business. Together we have brought a whole new type of environment to the everyday smoke shop. She also handles more behind-the-scenes things than most people could imagine. It’s because we work as a team that this business has been a success and currently moving toward opening a second location. A very large part of what has made us such a success and makes us continue to push harder is that our business partner did the one thing we have just been looking for gave us a chance to prove our worth.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has not been a smooth road with every new business there is struggle, but with that struggle comes lessons learned and knowledge gained. One of our biggest challenges have been finding both knowledgeable and reliable workers. Our other struggle was learning what our customers do and do not want based on the location of our shop. And learning that what we like isn’t always what everyone else is looking for

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
Kaleb- Done many things over the years but at its core, my passion is art and working with my hands which is why I got licensed to tattoo and pierce. I’ve also taken that love of art and put it toward professional landscape work and other various construction occupations as well.

Sara- my love for all things art and creative took me to Disney, there’s just something so amazing about the magic you can create being part of that family and it’s why outside of our shop I continue to make magic as a cast member. It allows me to have fun and express myself in all sorts of ways.

What matters most to you? Why?
Kaleb- The one thing that matters most to me in life is making an impact before I go, when eventually I pass I wanna be remembered for someone that did something in their life that helped someone that made the world a better place in some way. Outside of that, I would say the most important thing is family, whether they’re your birth family and adoptive family, or the family you’ve made on your own at the end of the day family is all you have, doesn’t matter how that family came to be.
