Today we’d like to introduce you to Lorena Gallisa.
Hi Lorena, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I was born in the city of San Juan, Puerto Rico. I am a married woman with three lovely children and a puppy named Rex. I hold a bachelor’s degree in advertising with a minor in marketing. I’ve always enjoyed being able to assist others and working in the real estate industry. I purchased my first investment property when I was 21 years old. That’s when I realized I’d found my calling. I began my career as a realtor, assisting many families in obtaining their dream home. I was presented with several situations in which my clients struggled to get their mortgage loans approved, and seeing their frustration was when I realized that I needed to take the next step in my career in order to continue helping more people. I was presented with several situations in which my clients found it extremely difficult to be approved for their mortgage loans, and seeing their frustration was when I realized that I needed to take the next step in my career in order to continue assisting more families in realizing their dreams of owning a home. There, I made the decision to obtain my license as a Mortgage Loan Officer. Working in this branch, I developed an action plan that has assisted many families in obtaining their ideal home. With this action plan, I prepare my clients for mortgage loan approval based on their financial needs. My greatest joy comes from informing them that they have been approved. I adore my job
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t been easy, but I enjoy a good challenge. Starting with the revalidation, I had to study diligently, but I passed on the first try. Some cases have also been difficult, but the important thing is that each client has been satisfied.

I am a Mortgage Loan Officer who serves clients in Florida and Puerto Rico. I specialize in arranging mortgage loans and refinances for first-time homebuyers, second homes, and investment properties. With a wide range of programs available to everyone. I am known as the #tumatchmakerhipotecaria. The most satisfying aspect of my job is assisting my clients in obtaining a mortgage loan that meets their financial needs. I am not afraid of anything; in fact, the more powerful and difficult the situation, the more passionate I am. I also stand out on social media, where I am constantly providing valuable content to help the community.
What’s next?
Every day in the market, you learn something new. I stay up to date on all of the changes and offers that come up on a daily basis. I also participate in continuing education classes. One of my long-term goals is to create an informative and entertaining podcast for the Hispanic community. I’ve planned topics such as real estate, mortgages, social media, and marketing for this podcast, as well as guests from various industries who can serve as resources for listeners.
