LUIS CONES is deemed by the media as the Artist of Sales. He is the author of Book “Vender ES un Estilo de Vida (Selling IS a Lifestyle)”. He was awarded the prize “High Impact International Writer and Speaker in the Sales area 2021” by Mara de Oro and “Impact International Speaker of the Year 2020” by Tacarigua de Oro and “Human Right’s Defender 2019 Award” by Scientology Orlando and “Motivational Leader in Sales 2019 Award” by Cumbre de Líderes Empresariales and “Lecturer of the Year 2017 Award” by Premio El Emperador Internacional and “Motivator of the Year 2017 Award” Premios Occamy’s Internacional and “Entrepreneur of 2016” by Premios Santa Cecilia. His business in Venezuela, Cones Consulting Group, won the “Internacional Quatily Summit 2016 Award” at the Quality Convention International in New York. In addiction, he is a high-impacted international lecturer. He is a Motivator, a Coach and a Sales Strategist. He also was a producer and host of the only shows Venezuelan radio and TV than were fully oriented to sales, “Todos Somos Vendedores (We Are All Salespersons)” and “Vive la Venta con Luis Cones (Live Sales with Luis Cones)”.
As a sales professional, he held important and strategic positions in transnacional corporations. While in Siemens, he was awarded several recognitions, thanks to his notable contribution to the growth and strengthening of the business, which include the “Prize to the Best Salesman in the Andean Region” and “The Siemens Citizen in Action”.
His academic training includes Sales, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Coaching, Transformational Leadership and Change Management and was taken from de Gustav Käser Germany Academy, the U.S. PCOs International and Universidad de la Sabana in Bogotá. He obtained a Diplomate in Advanced Management Studies, a Diplomate in International Business Management and is a graduate Electrical Engineer from UNIMET.
Luis is highly qualified as a teacher to provide consulting, to guide and to teach, thanks to his wide experience, to a privileged academic education and to an excellent emotion management. This background has enabled him to become one of the Coaches most demand in Latin American to delivery lectures and to give courses and workshops.
Cones is the founder of Cones Consulting Group in Venezuela. During hard times, he was able to carry out Innovative, Profitable and Sustainable Business in the Healthcare sector, with sales in excess of US$50 million.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
The road has not been smooth, especially since people believed that learning to sell was only for people who work in product sales. My job was to show Venezuela, part of Latin America and Hispanics in the USA that knowing how to sell allows you to achieve everything you set out to do in life. To do this, I designed a training concept based on the fine arts: cinema, theater and music. My purpose was that people understand the sale as a lifestyle and not as a commercial transaction. Today, we are a reference and a pattern to follow, but when we started very few people believed in us.

I am a salesperson who developed a method to sell over $50,000,000 in 6 years. This method is called the CONES Sales Compass and it is the one I teach in my conferences, courses and consultancies.
I differentiate myself from the other speakers because in addition to adapting the CONES Sales Compass to all my clients, I do it in a fun way through the use of fine arts: cinema, theater and music.
What does success mean to you?
For me, professional success is finding something you would do for free and then finding someone to pay you for it.
And personal success is knowing how to balance professional success with personal life.
