Hi Luisangel, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
This academy was born as DSC approximately 5 years ago, our headquarters were in a community park. We started with the idea of training 4 3-year-old children, it began with the vision of training soccer players and in turn true human beings since we take into account the development of children taking into account their emotional intelligence. This makes no difference from all academies because we reinforce in our athletes the values and everything necessary so that in the future they can be excellent professionals with options for university scholarships where they can make a living in sports if they so wish. Little by little we have been growing and in 2020 we refresh our image, reborn as DSA Diamonds Soccer Club with a new headquarters that allows us to have more spaces to train the almost 100 players that we currently have, these players range between 4 and 17 years old. old both men and women. We are located at 12250 S John Young Pkwy Iglesia Fuente de Agua Viva, which allows us to have a venue to play an important league at the national level such as EDP with our competitive teams, and in turn we compete with our recreational teams in the league. local FEYSL in order to train and develop our diamonds. We have had the support of the representatives of the players and in turn of various companies that like our project and our way of working since we seek that children learn without pressure or scolding, simply guiding them and strengthening teamwork and decision making. decisions. All this has achieved a significant advance in sports and is what today characterizes us and motivates us to continue training players to promote their dreams in this beautiful sport.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The main obstacle is the resources to provide an excellent training, which thanks to the representatives and the sponsors we have been able to solve the basic needs of the academy to be able to have the essentials and thus be able to face the season, with a venue, materials, lighting of the terrain and uniforms for our players and coaches. Another important obstacle that we have been achieving step by step is being able to get to know youth soccer and important associations in Florida, in order to be part of and start our growth as a sports institution, which thanks to the support of other academies is possible today in day to be able to make life in tournaments and recognized leagues.

I am the General Director in the academy and I’m the coach of the U6 and U12. I did courses about coaching and first aid courses. In my country i was a dentist and university professor.
Always i loved to teach and for that reason i know that tbe most important are the kids
Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
Constancy, Dedication, Seriousness Patience, Empathy, I respect Teamwork.
We just work for the kids, we just want that they get better every week and we teach with patience and love.
