Today we’d like to introduce you to Mikey Lujan.
Hi Mikey, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
After growing up watching Disney Channel and dancing as a kid, I decided I wanted to do something that combined my two interests and auditioned to be a performer at Walt Disney World. After starting off doing the Disney College Program in parking in 2021, in 2022 I recieved my big break and began dancing for the company in their parades and shows. From there, I went on to build my resume perform for other theme parks in the area such as SeaWorld and Universal Studios. In the midst of all this, I began DJing for Bop To The Top Tour, Club 90s and Stan Society, where I get to take my act on the road and play sold out shows around the world every weekend.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I would say the main challenge I face is juggling it all. I love what I do and am such a hard worker, but learning how to slow down and take it all in is something I struggle with given that I take on a lot at a time. I wouldn’t trade it for the world though!

I am a dancer, actor, singer and DJ who loves to put on a show!
What does success mean to you?
I define success by true connection. Sold out shows are great and all, but it means nothing if I don’t have a lasting impact on my audience. My goal is to make people feel comfortable in their skin and give them the confidence to pursue their own dreams. If I can do that for at least one person every time I perform, I feel that I’ve done my job.
