Today we’d like to introduce you to Nicholas Weimer
Hi Nicholas, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I love tattooing. I knew from an early age that I always wanted to have tattoos. I wanted to look like all my favorite action stars. All the tough guys in movies had cool tattoos. I got my first tattoo the day I turned eighteen just to make my parents mad. I had no intentions of getting any more and years later, I’m covered in them and I am proud to say that I do them. I accidentally fell into it. Some of my closest friends are tattooers and they really pushed me to go after it. Becoming a tattooer is hands down the greatest thing I’ve ever done. I get to meet so many people from so many different walks of life and it’s truly amazing. I’m honored to be able to tattoo all the people that chose to get tattooed by me and that will choose to get tattooed by me.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Tattooing is never a smooth road. Being busy is always hit or miss and really depends on the current economy. It’s a constant up and down. Attempting to keep up with trends, maintain a social media presence, continually trying to produce new drawing and managing a family/personal life is difficult but I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I specialize in American Traditional tattoos. I love creating tattoos that are personal to my clients that will hold up over the test of time. I’m beyond lucky to be able to do what I do.
Who else deserves credit in your story?
My biggest mentors have been Ryan Eternal and Tommy Haley. They’re both amazing tattooers who have taken me under their wings and have helped me become the man and tattooer that I am today.
