Check Out Nicollie Conovalow’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nicollie Conovalow.

Hi Nicollie, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Since I was a kid, I’ve always had an unexplainable love for and connection with Disney. I used to watch Princesses movies every day and all day, I could really feel the magic and they’ve thought me to believe in all of my dreams. As I was growing up, I’ve always dreamed about being an actress, a princess performer, and making dreams come true. My mother used to work in a TV channel and she helped me to find a way to start my actress journey I used to dance and sing at the church and then I started to study theater and musical theater, which I’ve learned acting, dancing and singing. I made a few musical plays with this school and I then I started to work for a company that had princesses and other characters to attend birthday parties, pocket shows, musical shows, events, and more. I work with them for more than 4 years, traveled through my country and for other countries performing many different characters, acting and singing in pocket shows, and others. In 2013, I was called to work as a TV game show host assistant in one of the most important TV channels in my country, following along with character events. Due to all my professional experience, in 2016 I was called to join the dance casting in three TV shows in two of the most important TV channels in my country (Domingão do Faustão – Rede Globo / Programa Silvio Santos – SBT / Programa do Ratinho – SBT). Even though I was born and raised in Brazil, my main goal since ever was live in Orlando-FL (the place where all dreams come true), be close to Disney, and keep doing what I love. In 2018, I got the opportunity to move from São Paulo to Orlando, and then I decided to create my own company to keep making dreams come true. At this time, I created EXPRESSO PRINCESA and since then we’ve been doing special visits, in breakfast, birthday parties, events, and more.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Starting a company being a foreign, in a different city and country, with a different language, especially being the first Brazilian character company in the entire U.S. it was a huge challenging process. I had many details to think about, as create the brand, find costumes, make my company known in the Brazilian and American community, matching customers’ agendas, get licenses, and others. My company was getting bigger every day more and the most difficult challenge along the way was managing all the visits/parties while I was the only actress in the company and growing my cast, keeping the same quality and standards as the beginning. Thank God I was able to do everything with a lot of patience and faith, and I believe that everything led me to where I am right now and it was worth it.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
The most important key in my company is do everything to perfection to bring more magic as possible to the real-life and that’s the main thing I’m proud for. What I believe that’s the most important thing that made us known for and also what set us apart for others is the increasing attention that we’ve been receiving since the beginning due to our quality, perfection, and professionalism. We use the highest quality of costumes, and we have in our cast only professional performers, deeply trained personally by myself in each character role and even their own voices, acting, kids’ therapy and they are fluent in Portuguese, English, and/or Spanish.

What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
What I like best about our city is the magic that flows in each part of that. All the theme parks, parks, weather, lakes, beaches nearby, restaurants, and everything that makes this lovely city so desirable for people all over the world. What I like least about Orlando, I would say the traffic for sure!
