Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started working as a chef but because of Covid-19, all restaurants closed due to quarantine so that’s when I realized that I needed to do something to support my family. That’s when we decided to open a business of our own.
We wanted to combine natural soaps with ingredients of our own. Being from a different country there are a lot more remedial ingredients used for skin such as pandan leaves and volcanic ashes. There are people everywhere with sensitive skin conditions but with our soaps, we hope to soothe any type of skin. We are constantly trying to expand and spread the word by doing multiple pop-up events, farmer markets, and even being at convention centers!
We are currently still doing these events but we were blessed to be able to open our very own store! We are a family-owned business. Being grown up in Indonesia, we want to introduce some of our heritage through our products.
Where we come from, we are surrounded by Eastern Asian ethnic spices and ancient tales of traditional cleansing.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Probably the most common obstacle for us is whenever we have an event outside, it ends up raining so then no one will want to come so we can’t spread the word efficiently.
In 2021, our soap maker was in a car accident so which impacted soap production and it was really difficult for him to set up events

Specialize in making soap. We are most known for our handmade soaps. We are very proud of our soaps, shampoos, body butter, etc. We’ve gotten many compliments about our soaps.
What sets us apart is that we have ingredients based in East Asia that revitalize and are beneficial for the skin. We want to cleanse, moisturize, and soothe your skin in the most gentle way possible.

I’m also very handy and know about cars and am pretty good at building and fixing stuff.
