Today we’d like to introduce you to Scotty Hendrixx.
Hi Scotty, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My story started with myself at the age of 6, studying music giants like the remarkable Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Michael Jackson, Aretha Franklin, Celine Dion & the list goes on & on. Coming from Tallahassee, Florida & being raised in church, and having that supported musical influence also in my life. While I was growing in age, I was stepping into my vocal stature for myself. I am shy, nervous & sometimes not confident, but now I’m ready to take the world by storm & introduce SCOTTYHENDRIXX to the world!
It wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The road has not always been smooth, there have always been bumps in my journey. However, those bumps, detours, and sometimes hurdles, while inconvenient, have always held a reason and a lesson. I am internally grateful for those moments. The struggles along the way have always been internal, but once I discovered my true self and focused on all aspects of my life, the road has been nothing short of amazing.
Let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m an R&B singer/songwriter based in Orlando, Florida. I have co-written a few songs & projects & submitted creative production ideas to certain artists around the central Florida area. My specialties are harmonies & having a polished vocal ear when it comes to the production stages of making music, audio engineering & being a producer. What I am most proud of is my singing abilities & how they reassure me of the gift god gave me. Understanding that I am in my lane & nobody can duplicate it, take it away, or push me off my road. What sets me apart from others is my authenticity, humbleness, confidence & trendsetting mindset—just knowing that my light is shining brighter every day.
If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
If you were to ask a lot of my friends and family members, they would describe me as very introverted, never seeking attention. To others, I’m the class clown, always bringing laughter to the right place and time. If I’m being honest, everyone has seen a different side of me. My goal in this present life is to always enter people’s lives with pure intentions, and to give them the love, gratitude, and respect that I believe everyone deserves.
