Today we’d like to introduce you to Sherri Jewer.
Hi Sherri, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I have always had an interest in photography, and a passion for music. I am a self proclaimed selfie queen.
I have always been a lover of live music my husband and I have always loved to go see bands anytime we could .
Music is my escape, its the only time my brain shuts down & I get to not have a care for a few hours❤️
I started by recording videos & taking pictures of a few local bands with my phone , people seemed to enjoy what I was posting.
My husband saw that I had a talent , he decided to research, and bought me a professional camera.
I started taking my camera with me everywhere, I love taking photos!
Especially of live music , I want people too feel the music & the passion in my pictures . I want to capture the emotions in the music .
I want a rockstar too look like a rockstar, I love giving my pictures edge!
Over this past year 2024, I have really put myself out there more , the bands love my pictures, and many bands are asking me to take pictures, I love seeing my pictures used as their profile pictures, and on their social media accounts!
It is a great honor too me !!
I am happy to have found this God given talent I didn’t even know I had it in me !

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Ive had a great road , we are also our families caregivers ,its been a challenging role Making friends that are now family
