Today we’d like to introduce you to Stacey Kennedy Melon.
Hi Stacey, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Hard work, dedication, strong focus, willpower. I see my business as my child as though I’m raising one of my kids. I’ve always wanted to own my company its always been a dream of mine so I’ve decided to go for it why not take the risk I’m only getting older and I’ve lost the most expensive thing in life and that is TIME, I love candles I bought at least five candles per week, every room in my home has to have a scented candle. I’ve also made my own my family and friends loved them and so I’ve decided to share my creation with others.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I’ve had more than several setbacks from the pandemic to moving my family from New York to Florida to the loss of loved ones my grandmother told me to flow my heart and fulfill my passion. So I spoke to my husband about it and he told me the same thing since he knows I always love candles.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’ve worked at Blue Note Jazz Club in New York for over six years. I’ve attended school for Medical Office and Medical Assistant and worked a few years in that field but it wasn’t my passion. I’m also a certified nail technician and eyelash specialist I’m very proud of those accomplishments
What are your plans for the future?
I’m looking forward to expanding my business having my own storefront and selling worldwide and becoming a household name. I’m also looking forward to having my own beauty spa.
