Hi Stella, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Picture it… 2020 *insert collective groan here* I had just moved to Orlando, FL from Central Ohio pursuing my next big dream. And as a result of Covid-19 that dream was placed on hold for a few months. I had been a successful Drag Queen while living in Ohio and had just started my Tarot Reading business about a year prior to leaving. It was in October of 2020 in the relative calm of life and moving that I came up with the idea of combining the two. I mean if you are already expecting to be read for filth by a Drag Queen why not add Tarot into the mix and support people in their lives with a little spiritual life coaching? That was the year Queen of Glam Tarot was born, delivering Tarot Readings with a Glamorous Twist to Central Florida and up and down the coasts.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely has had it’s ups and downs along the way. One of the biggest was the introduction of the Bill 1438 banning Drag in public where minors could be or are present. Many of the locations I made appearances were art venues and restaurants.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
For those in Central Florida I am the resident Tarot Diva. I wrap my Tarot readings and life coaching with a little fun and flair and add a touch of glamour. My work has led me to be in residence at several art restaurants and venues in Orlando and Historic Cocoa Village. This also includes facilitating workshops online for international clients, and working in content creation, including my latest effort, a book titled “Read Like a Queen” published by RedFeather. I am really looking forward to its release on September 28 of this year.
