Check Out Stephanie’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephanie.

Hi Stephanie, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My story is quite simple. I was working a job in Orlando FL, with my heart telling me there is something else out there that I need to be doing. I felt like I was so desperate to see what had been nudging me. Sometimes, you look so hard and start to see things that are not there. I started thinking I was supposed to be doing everything that came to my mind. When it was finally brought to my attention, I need to be still, open my eyes and heart to God and listen to what I am being told. I prayed about it for a while. As soon as I received confirmation of what God wanted to me to do. I put my 2 weeks’ notice in and started working on a business plan. Here we are today, happy, grateful and blessed.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The unknown is always an obstacle. I also, left my job without another source of income yet. I had to dip into my savings in order to start my business without a guarantee I could make money back. Which then OfCourse meant I had to make sacrifices on things I didn’t really need, in order to cut back on money. The whole business aspect of it! There is a lot to learn and that was very challenging for me. I had to get social media, website, advertise, legal documents, things that did not come easy to me.

Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
I wouldn’t say I had a mentor, but I will say. There were plenty of people who were willing to help me, guide me and support me. Everyone brought something different to the table, that was able to help me. I will forever be grateful for everyone who has helped along the way in some manner. From likes on my photos of events that I posted, to word of mouth advertisement, to the girls helping at the events, to friends & family when I needed emotional support. So many hands have been involved in helping me grow.
