Check Out Tatiana Rivera’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tatiana Rivera.

Hi Tatiana , thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Growing up I’ve always had a passion for both art and beauty. I wanted to explore different ways in which I can express my art within the beauty community. After much experimenting with makeup and hair, I came to the realization that nail enhancements sparked the most creativity in me. So after months of practicing on myself and gaining the education through beauty school, I became a licensed nail technician! Now almost 2 years later I am blessed with not only a growing business but also surrounded with such amazing colleagues that helped shape and mold who I am in the industry today!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not been a smooth road and I still face challenges now. When I first started out, I had to find a healthy balance to work, attend class, and raise my son all during a time of uncertainty and lockdowns. It wasn’t easy but I had great support at home and from family!

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a licensed Nail Technician and I specialize in acrylic and GelX applications. I love to dabble in all styles of nail art, but anything hand-drawn is my absolute favorite! I am most proud of how far my application has progressed in the past two years. What I believe sets me apart from others is my attention to detail. Also, my easy-going and goofy personality!

Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
My favorite childhood memories always revolves around my 4 younger siblings. Whether it was sitting around the Christmas tree opening gifts or enjoying a family day at the beach together, they were always the best part of my childhood.
