Hi Tj, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My story is almost as common as any other rap story. I had a rough upbringing, bad environment but I kept my head on a swivel. I wouldn’t change it for anything in the world. Growing up in the hood, you learn certain survival tactics that you don’t learn anywhere else, so I’m always appreciative of that. I used to play sports as an escape from my reality, but when that didn’t work out, I turned to the music. I’ve always been musically inclined, so it just came natural. And that brings us to where I am today. As cliche as it sounds, Music saved my life.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Of course, not just like anything in life there are trials and tribulations. In this industry, you have to be super calculated; ima leave it at that.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am many things, but I really just label myself as talented. I am a rapper and I am proud that I can make music people enjoy. What sets me apart from others is my passion for the craft and my work ethic.
