Check Out Turner Davis’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Turner Davis.

Hi Turner, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Mustard Seed Necklaces started as a small idea rooted in a big faith. One day, I came across the Bible verse Matthew 17:20, which says, “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, nothing will be impossible for you.” That message hit home. I wanted to create something simple yet powerful that people could wear as a daily reminder of faith, hope, and perseverance. That’s how our handmade mustard seed glass vial necklaces were born.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Building something from scratch always comes with challenges — from learning e-commerce to balancing creativity and business. But through prayer, perseverance, and community support, we’ve continued to grow. Every testimonial and story from our customers reminds me why we started in the first place.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Each necklace is handmade with real mustard seeds and colored sands that represent different journeys of faith. Every color has a story — from calm blues that represent peace to vibrant golds that symbolize victory. It’s more than jewelry; it’s a personal message of faith that people can carry close to their heart.

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
I was born and raised in Sanford, Florida. Growing up, I was always active, curious, and passionate about learning new things. I loved both music and sports, which kept me well-rounded and connected to my community. I was a proud member of the band and played the trumpet, which eventually led me to perform with the world-famous Marching 100 out of Tallahassee. One of the highlights of my journey was getting the chance to perform at the Super Bowl with them — an experience I’ll never forget.

Beyond music, I was also heavily involved in athletics — playing football, wrestling, and always pushing myself to be my best. My love for problem-solving and technology inspired me to major in mathematics and computer science in college. Altogether, my upbringing taught me discipline, teamwork, and the importance of faith and perseverance — values that still guide me in everything I do today.
