Today we’d like to introduce you to Tyler Dunn.
Hi Tyler, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
I started a little while back when I was 16 and got my first camera from my parents. They knew I had a hidden passion for photography, so when it came time for me to try to improve, they surprised me with a new Canon T6i. After many trips to local theme parks and events around Florida, the camera got its money’s worth. Universal Studios Orlando has been my training grounds for photography ever since the beginning. From various events to basic wildlife photos, I have practiced all types of photography in that park. I have since upgraded to a Sony A7i; my photos have also grown into a new field of professionalism.
You wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been smooth?
A few things that have stopped my progress have been minor. Enthusiasm, or finding a drive to keep working on new original ideas, has been the hardest obstacle. Content creation is not just about posting what you want; you must dive deep and figure out exactly what causes viewers to want to keep watching or looking at new posts. Keeping that momentum from various algorithms on different platforms has been a constant roadblock.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a Content Creator. I’m known for my niche, “Horror Photography.” I’m a photographer, videographer, graphic designer, and video editor, to summarize what I do. I have experience in all fields of content creation. I’m very proud of my Halloween Horror Nights videos from past years. These pieces of work have motivated me to keep working hard on creating entertainment.
What matters most to you? Why?
The content I create makes people smile. It’s always been a passion of mine to create videos and take photos, and when that makes people smile and laugh or even cry or joy, that is something I can always appreciate.
