Hi VICTORIA, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
From lockdown isolation into runway spotlight & pageantry
I thought my modeling career was over, but during the lockdown, I rekindled my passion for the runway and ventured into pageantry. This led to winning both Mrs. Universe USA and Ms. United Nations USA titles.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Smooth? Oh, Good Lord, not even close! The lockdown hit hard, especially NYC – my home base and like many, I felt stuck. Even spending most time in Florida did not help much,.. But hey, they say diamonds are made under pressure, right? The biggest challenge was staying motivated when everything paused. I had to dig deep, rekindle my modeling passion, and thought, why not try pageants too? Juggling all that during a pandemic? Let’s just say, my heels have never been higher!
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Oh, where do I start? I’ve been in the fashion industry for decades, working as a model, designer, tailor. I even had my own clothing line and retail boutiques.
Fashion is my first love, but I also dabble in interior decoration.
I invest in residential property which I turn into short rental places and that gives me plenty of practice in decorating, remodeling, and even in renovations, it’s where my love to DIY started, haha!
What sets me apart?
I am a perfectionist striving to master things to the highest standard,
My ability to learn new things, reinvent myself and take on new challenges with a smile.
Yet my feminine energy and frequency are incredibly strong and elevated, so you will feel the passion in everything I touch.
What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
The fashion and pageant industries are always evolving, and I see some exciting shifts on the horizon. Sustainable fashion is becoming a major trend, with more designers focusing on eco-friendly materials and ethical practices. In the pageant world, I think we’ll see a greater emphasis on diversity and inclusivity, celebrating all kinds of beauty.
Virtual shows are also gaining traction, making events more accessible worldwide.
And with the rise of AI models, the industry is poised for a technological revolution.
Overall, it’s all about innovation and embracing change, which is something I absolutely love.
