Hi V’Shara, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Hello, I am V’Shara Cook. I am a content creator on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, etc. I started out by creating teacher content being that I teach middle school. I share my lesson plans, fun and engaging classroom activities, and teacher day in the life videos. I wanted everyone to know teachers can be both hardworking in the classroom and have a fun life outside of the schoolhouse.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Creating content is actually a passion of mine. I feel like I am helping others when I share. However, there have been struggles along the way. Some people do not like my style of teaching, which is fine. I’ve also had companies reach out for me to promote their companies but aren’t willing to pay. I think that’s unfair for a billion-dollar company to ask for FREE promotion to content creators.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?

The crisis has affected us all in different ways. How has it affected you and any important lessons or epiphanies you can share with us?
What I learned from Covid-19 is that more people had started using social media outlets. That’s when I got more into making TikToks. It started out as a way to make my students smile since our school year had gotten shaken up. Then, I wanted to promote more daily self-care vlogs.
