Today we’d like to introduce you to Whitney Bristol.
Hi Whitney, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Born and raised right here in the heart of Orlando, I’m a proud product of the City Beautiful. I graduated from the legendary Jones High School—yes, the best high school in the city, don’t debate me! From there, I took my talents to THEE Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University—FAMU, the best HBCU in the land, where I studied broadcast journalism and truly found my voice (and my hustle).
After undergrad, I continued my education and earned my master’s in Public Relations from Full Sail University. But more than degrees and accolades, my purpose has always been rooted in one thing: helping people.
That purpose led me to launch my own marketing company, where I get to pour into brands and visionaries. From there, my passion for connection naturally segued into real estate—helping people find not just houses, but homes. I also host a podcast that’s real, raw, and rooted in authenticity, and I work with a radio station here in Orlando, bringing voices and stories to life on air.
At the end of the day, I wear many hats—but they all serve the same mission: to uplift, empower, and represent. I’m just a hometown girl with big dreams, a love for people, and a mic in one hand and a contract in the other.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Whew—definitely not a smooth road. Life has had its share of detours, speed bumps, and unexpected turns. Finding my niche while juggling all the different hats I wear—friend, daughter, sister, partner—hasn’t always been easy. I’ve experienced deep personal losses, the kind that shake your world and make you question everything. I’ve battled burnout, imposter syndrome, and moments where I felt completely lost in the noise of expectations.
But even in those low moments, I never quit. I just kept going—sometimes with tears, sometimes with prayer, sometimes on pure faith. I reminded myself of my “why,” and that kept me grounded. Every struggle has shaped me, sharpened me, and brought me closer to who I’m meant to be.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I like to say I’m the best of both worlds—I can host your event and help you close on your dream home. By day (and sometimes night), I’m a licensed Realtor helping people find more than just a house—I help them find a lifestyle. And at the same time, I’m a media personality and host who loves creating spaces for authentic conversation, connection, and community. Whether I’m behind a mic or in front of a home, my passion is people.
Alongside my close friend, I co-created The Swipe Right Edit—a curated event series designed to bring men and women together through experiences that blend lifestyle, health, wellness, and authentic networking. From fitness activations to professional mixers, our goal is to create meaningful connections and vibe-driven spaces where real conversations and community can flourish.
What I’m most proud of is that I didn’t box myself in. I gave myself permission to pursue all of the things I love—and I bring that same energy to everything I do. What sets me apart? My tenacity. My willpower. My ability to show up—even when it’s hard, even when the odds are stacked, even when no one’s clapping. I show up for others because I’ve learned how to show up for myself first.
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
The biggest lesson I’ve learned is that comparison is the thief of joy. It’s so easy to get caught up in what everyone else is doing, but what’s meant for you will never miss you. I’ve learned to trust my timing, honor my pace, and most importantly—put myself first.
You can’t pour from an empty cup, so prioritizing my peace, my purpose, and my healing has been key. I’ve also learned that you don’t have to do it alone. Building a tribe of people who genuinely support, uplift, and understand you makes the journey a lot more meaningful. And above all, never quit. Rest if you need to, cry if you must—but don’t ever give up.
