Today we’d like to introduce you to Robby Charneco.
Robby, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
In 2005 I had the honor of meeting Rotten Ryan (rest in peace), whom took me under his wing as an apprentice due to an appreciation of my artwork. At the time, I was in my last year of college majoring in marketing, considering dropping out to take on tattooing full time but Ryan refused to allow me to not finish what I started. I continued to study under Ryan, sketching, cleaning the shop, all the dirty work that most don’t take into consideration with the glamorous life of tattooing. After the passing of my mentor Ryan, the current shop I was working at slowly pushed me away; the depression that came with losing such a close friend in life threw me into working harder, pushed me to do better. With that came the inspiration to open my own shop Body Language Custom Ink; also, having a young daughter and a son on the way paved motivation to work for myself, run my own business. Here I am, nine years later, doing better than ever.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Learning patience and understanding, especially being in an industry that is so closely zoned in on people, their emotions, and permanent markings on their body for the rest of their lives.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Professional tattoo artist and tattoo shop owner. As far as my style, I really prefer to go with the flow and be a an all-around artist in all genres. Though I do specialize in detailed cover-ups which sets me apart from others – taking on work no other artist is willing to touch. And am most proud of my current watercolor artistry but would really enjoy getting into more realism.

The best of the best, I couldn’t be more thrilled with the incredible work Robby has done on me. His creativity and talent excels any tattoo artist in Orlando – hands down.
