Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffany Brown.
Hi Tiffany, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
As an experienced sales professional, I’ve spent nearly 20 years honing my skills in the competitive world of corporate sales. During that time, I’ve perfected the art of closing the deal – a skill I am dedicated to teaching women to master. As a speaker and a coach, I help women simplify the steps of monetizing their passion projects to grow their brand/business. As a wife and working mother of three children, I understand the importance of being able to have flexibility and resources to help you stay consistent with your goals.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My journey has not been easy. When you are trying to establish yourself and your brand, not everyone can see and understand your vision. Having support keeps you motivated and inspired, and I have learned that some people just need to see “proof” before they can support you. Another struggle is imposter syndrome. It is challenging when self-doubt creeps in and you get the feeling that you are not as good as the next person to accomplish your goals. To be honest, this is something I face daily. However, I know my worth and value, and I have learned to continue to focus on the things and people that bring me joy in order to maintain a level of quality content and information for my online community that I appreciate so much. As you can see, experiencing and overcoming these struggles led me to find clarity in my purpose. For that, I am extremely grateful and without regret.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I have a true passion for helping others. I started working at the age of 15 at the Department of Veteran Affairs in Jackson, MS. Working there inspired me to get involved in the healthcare industry. Fast-forward to now: I have been a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative for nearly 20 years. Working in this industry has equipped me with skill sets that I use to not only grow my own personal brand and business, but also to be able to help other women who are like me to do the same. I coach professional women on how to monetize their passion projects while working a full-time job until they are ready to transition into full-time entrepreneurship. I am known for fostering an engaged community of like-minded women who want the flexibility to become their own boss one day.
What do you like and dislike about the city?
What I like the best about our city is the unmatched opportunities for growth. We moved here from Louisiana five years ago. I was excited for my children to grow up in a city where there is so much to do. Every weekend is a new adventure, and we love it. From the theme parks to local restaurants, we never get bored of exploring together as a family. What I like least about the city would be traffic. But hey, that is expected, and we have learned to navigate it.
