Today we’d like to introduce you to Andre Ortiz
Hi Andre, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I’ve always had an interest in cameras. Mainly video. In high school I was the “video guy” and would film my friends skateboarding.
I did the Film Production program at Valencia College in Orlando to keep pursuing my interest in video/motion pictures. After graduation I worked on a few big budget productions but realized it wasnt my thing.
I did wedding videography for a few years before finally landing on Real Estate Media. I met a real estate agent at my church and he let me shoot one of his listings. He was my very first client in 2017 and we still work together today.
I currently run and operate AOC Visuals which is a Real Estate Media company based in Clermont. I love seeing and capturing different homes and styles of homes and truly love what I do.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has not been a smooth road. It took a while for me to figure out which path I wanted to take and finally land on Real Estate Media. Like with any business, getting it off the ground is not easy. Lots of networking, outreach and complimentary photos and a lot of times, feelings of disappointment. Like all of my efforts were not producing fruit. But the key is not to quit because success comes to those who do the work.

Im a person that likes to take risks.. but calculated risks. If I am unsure about something I do my best to educate myself on the matter but still take the plunge. Even if I fail, its not failing because I learned.
