Today we’d like to introduce you to Bonny Bailey-Finck.
Hi Bonny, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Well, the first time I was lucky enough to have the Orlando Voyager interview me, I was only 1-2years old as a business owner.
Now, I am going into my 8th year, and I am proud to be embarking on my 18th in the Central Florida Wedding Industry.
So much has changed, but also, many things have stayed the same!
Happy to still be a part of it, and excited for the future to continue to grow, and continue supporting our mission statement. “The noblest art is that of making others happy!” ~P.T. Barnum
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Has it been a smooth or rough road?…. Gee…. Global Pandemic, US & State Shutdowns and Reopening’s, Shifts in Business Practices & Looming Recessions…. I wouldn’t say it was easy or smooth. But…. I have learned so so much!!!
And I do feel as though the company has been able to evolve and adapt for the current and future consumer. Slowly, I do feel I am validating Coordination & Planning Experience, Existence, and Service.
My husband giggles every time he thinks about our business. He reminds me that the value of OUR business lies in its people, and their ability to be knowledgeable, adaptive and invisible. Which in the grand scheme of marketing, is tricky with no product beyond yourself. “Sell a product no one knows is there until there is a problem….” –> Of course you would choose this line of business!
My Response: “What’s the point if it isn’t challenging and always has a learning curve.”
We’ve been impressed with P.S. I Love You Weddings & Events, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We used to be known as P.S. I Love You Productions, but after COVID, we rebranded to P.S. I Love You Weddings & Events. We specialize in Coordination, Planning & Event Entertainment.
My knowledge and expertise came from a world of large-scale event productions & theme parks. Now, no idea is too specialized or personalized. We enjoy making the unimaginable a reality for every client.
Our clients are smart, creative and all unique, and we like to make sure their planning, coordination and entertainment all reflect “them” as individuals.
Our entertainment offerings range from animal encounters to musicians, to look-a-likes, to custom designs.
What sets us apart from other Companies that offer these services? The experiences are curated specifically to what will best benefit the performance as well as the client. When it comes to animal encounters, we think about the animal itself, and never make them do anything they don’t want to do. Last year, we had a hawk trained to drop rings into a ceremony, and trained two in case one hawk was having a bad day. Our passion includes education, advocacy and all of this factors into EVENTS & FUN!
We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
I feel the role of the Coordinator/Planner is try to avoid as much “left to chance,” situations as we can, but also I do feel we like to push envelopes.
We love new talent, new ideas, and will try anything once.
We only dig our heels in, when we’ve tried a crazy idea, and know it doesn’t work.
Pricing:
