Today we’d like to introduce you to Brian Foshee.
Hi Brian, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Brian “Happie” Foshee, a 1997 graduate of Penn State University, began his professional journey in 1998 when he moved to New Jersey to pursue a full-time career in performing. By 2000, his show had gained significant popularity, leading to approximately 400 performances annually. That same year, he founded “B. Happie Entertainment,” which grew rapidly, booking over 1,000 shows annually by 2004 with a roster of about a dozen performers. Concurrently, Brian invented various products for fellow magicians, including the successful Happie Amp, a small PA system that became widely popular among wedding officiants, funeral directors, and entertainers, selling thousands of units.
In 2007, Brian made the decision to prioritize his family, returning to his hometown of Johnstown, PA, to raise his children in the scenic environment of western Pennsylvania.
In 2011, the family relocated to Oviedo, FL, where Brian has continued to captivate audiences with “The B Happie Show,” “Magic, Murder, Mystery, The Experience,” and Bubble Foam Dance Parties. He remains a dedicated inventor and public speaker, frequently discussing innovation.
Brian’s life story is a testament to the power of pursuing one’s passions while valuing the importance of family.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I thought I had diversified well. Selling a PA system, performing, and public speaking. I found out in 2020 that all of my businesses had a common thread, audiences. I closed Empower Sound in 2020 and stopped selling the PA systems. I got a job selling life insurance for about a year. I did not enjoy working on something I wasn’t passionate about it.

What are your plans for the future?
We are always innovating! We are working on adding a screen and projector to play videos and show pictures from the crowd. We are also looking into an interactive light-up dance floor. We also are starting to offer artificial snow and bubble parties.
