Hi Christine, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My Fiance and I have always wanted to have our own business, a business that utilized our skills and gave us complete discretion on who we work with and what projects we accept. Panoramic Home Solutions officially was in business on May 1, 2020, two months into the Covid pandemic in Central Florida. I started promoting Panoramic on social media, sharing photos of Steven’s creative projects at our home, and the messages started rolling in.
We started with projects that could be done at our house (i.e., wooden signs for the backyard, furniture refinishing, etc.) or outdoor work at the customer’s home. Once Covid restrictions lightened up, we started accepting handyman services for indoor and outdoor projects. We are lucky that we haven’t slowed down yet!
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
We have not had significant issues since starting our business, but we initially worked harder and not smarter. Steven and I have learned not to take on projects where customers are unclear about what they want. We have done extra work without compensation because of assumptions on our part and the customer.
Unfortunately, we needed to make mistakes to learn the correct way to do things. In the beginning, we did not focus on the administrative side enough, so we have had to adjust our practices to ensure we provide exemplary work and protect our brand. We review our recent projects every few months and see if we need to change pricing, execution, and material selection to ensure we are competitive and provide the best service to our customers.

Panoramic Home Solutions provides indoor and outdoor handyman services. We specialize in home improvement projects that the average person may not have the time, patience, or experience to do. If you ask our customers what we do well, you will get a long list of random home improvement projects that have nothing to do with another.
We differ from most handyman companies by offering a wide variety of services. For example, we have one customer who has hired us to install deck railing around their pool deck, replace drywall from a leak in the refrigerator water line, rewire the outdoor sound system, and so many more projects.
I am most proud of our relationships with the many loyal customers who consistently reach out to us to work on their homes. We are fortunate to stay busy with repeat customers and word-of-mouth referrals.
I want your readers to know that it never hurts to talk to us about the projects they wish to complete. Handyman services can encompass many skills that you may not think we offer. I always tell prospective customers to talk to me about what they want to be done, and I will let them know if we can do it or not. If we can’t do the project, I always try to refer them to someone I know that can help get the project completed.
