Cristina, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I embarked on my journey as an herbalist 10 years ago when I realized how challenging it was to find truly clean, natural products. My first creation was a healing face wash for my own skin. As I shared it with family and friends, their enthusiastic feedback inspired me to explore the art and science of natural formulations further.
This passion led me to immerse myself in the study of herbalism, working alongside mentors to gain in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience. I became fascinated by how herbs work with the body to promote natural healing and knew I wanted to one day share these creations on a larger scale.
In 2019, I launched an online business that quickly gained momentum and paved the way for opening a brick-and-mortar storefront. My vision extended beyond selling products—I wanted to create a collective, a one-stop shop that brings together natural creators to make clean, natural living accessible and affordable for everyone.
At Livin’ Boho Herbal Apothecary, I ensure all products are crafted with 100% natural ingredients and packaged using eco-friendly materials. I am committed to honoring nature’s gifts by prioritizing sustainability and environmental responsibility.
This journey has been a true dream in the making. Every day, I feel blessed to live my passion and share it with others who are seeking to learn more about natural healing and healthier living.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The journey has been a true blessing, but it has also come with its challenges. While there were moments when I felt defeated, each obstacle served as a valuable lesson, reminding me that slow and steady wins the race. In this journey, there isn’t a definitive finish line; instead, every day is an opportunity to grow, adapt, and work toward achieving balance.
We’ve been impressed with Livin’ Boho, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Livin’ Boho Herbal Apothecary is a curated collective dedicated to natural living and herbal wellness. Founded by an experienced herbalist with over a decade of expertise, the apothecary is a one-stop shop for individuals seeking a healthier, more natural lifestyle. With a focus on accessibility and affordability, Livin’ Boho makes natural living approachable for everyone.
At the heart of the apothecary are Cristina’s handcrafted tea blends, created in-house and custom-made for other retailers. Each blend is designed with care, offering both medicinal benefits and flavors that appeal to seasoned tea drinkers and newcomers alike. In addition to tea, the shop features an all-natural skincare line that promotes healing and nourishment, as well as its best-selling Fire Cider, a customer favorite.
Livin’ Boho is more than a store—it’s a holistic community. By collaborating with other small, natural businesses, Cristina has created a space where like-minded creators can showcase their work. Visitors to the shop are welcomed into a serene and judgment-free environment where they can explore a wide array of offerings, including household products, skincare, teas, herbal remedies, aromatherapy, and gluten-free, refined sugar-free treats.
The apothecary also hosts monthly herbal and energy workshops, further fostering connection and education in natural living. At Livin’ Boho, every detail is designed to provide healing, calm, and inspiration.
What are your plans for the future?
We are deeply grateful for the warm and enthusiastic welcome Livin’ Boho Herbal Apothecary has received from the Clermont community and throughout Central Florida. It is truly an honor to serve such a supportive and vibrant community.
As we look ahead to the new year, our goals include expanding our in-store tea collection and increasing the availability of our teas in more locations to reach and serve even more people. Additionally, we are committed to growing our eco-friendly product line, furthering our mission to provide sustainable and natural solutions that benefit both our customers and the environment.
