Community Highlights: Meet Dalton Hobbs of Dalton R. Hobbs Photography

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dalton Hobbs.

Dalton, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Born and raised in Dunnellon Florida on the rainbow river, growing up spent a lot of time on the water, hunting camp, and traveling. I started videography in highschool with tv production and dabbled with it after graduation. Over the next few years I was doing more photography and by 2015 I was full time. I mainly photographed families, high school seniors, and weddings. By 2017-until March of 2020 I was a full time wedding photographer. When Covid struck almost all weddings were canceled or turned into back yard weddings with all venues closing. A friend of mine suggested I get into the real estate media side of things and decided to get my Part 107 license and began the real estate photography path.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I’ve been very fortunate, the struggles have been very minimum over the years of being in the business. The only one I can think of is Covid and making the transition to real estate media.

We’ve been impressed with Dalton R. Hobbs Photography, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I’m a real estate photographer in the central Florida area, I offer stunning photographs, videos, custom websites, Matterport, etc

Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
YouTube was the biggest mentor and other real estate photographers in my area. We’re all our own businesses and we all network well together
