Today we’d like to introduce you to Diante Lawrence.
Hi Diante, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I am born and raised in Orlando Florida and graduated from the University of South Florida in Tampa. Growing up I thought I wanted to be a CEO of a fortune 500 company until I read the book Rich Dad Poor Dad which completely shifted my entire outlook on life and what I could do.
After reading that book I started my first business in real estate wholesaling and flipping for my first three years, and then decided to also become a realtor to further my real estate business which is now going on eight years in the industry. Through real estate Ive been able to create businesses, and grow in the talents God has given me. One example is my children’s book brand Tae Tae’s World, which will be a eight book series whose first book “Tae Tae and the Believers” is already out with the second book coming out this year 2025. As the brand grows I look to expand into television, movies, and merchandise with the ultimate goal of being that positive example for the next generation, and giving them fuel to become the best versions of themselves.
Beyond real estate and being a author I am also the host of the Emmy-nominated TV show “The American Dream” , which airs on various streaming platforms like Roku, Travel Channel, Apple Tv, and Amazon Prime, where I get the privilege to highlight our local business’s, organizations, and amazing people who are in our Orlando area.
My “why” is to be an example to others in regards to the fact that they can truly do and be whoever they aspire to be. Which is why I am so passionate about showing people as much as I can through what I do that they also have talents that the world is just waiting for them to bring to the forefront.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Learning how to scale, who to hire in the right positions and when, I would say has been the biggest challenge. Learning that trying to do everything yourself not only slows you down, but blocks your blessings has been something that Ive had to get accustomed to. Looking back at things if I understood this sooner in my career I could have dodged alot of pitfalls, and most definitely been further along in what I have envisioned for myself.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Tae Taes World is my book brand. We are working on releasing the 2nd of the 8 book series this year, and the over all future of the brand is tv shows, movies, and merchandise. The goal is to be that childrens brand for the next generation that instills principles in kids that will stay with them as they grow older, and help them fully realize their potentials.
As a realtor I specialize in helping families buy and sell their homes here in central florida. I have a ability to create a peace of mind throughout the real estate process, and build connection with all my clients the last well beyond the sell of their homes. This is something Im truly grateful for because for me it truly does not feel like work, and being apart of my peoples lives even after the sale of their homes is a feeling that I do not believe can be put into words.
Whether its people telling me how much my book means to them, and how their kids read it every night, or my real estate clients telling me they never thought this could happen and how they are so grateful for the work I did to help them. Those are the moments I am most proud about.
People will know that working with me is not just a transaction. Its something that turns into a long term relationship to where you know you can always count on me.
