Hi Edwin, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My journey as a DJ started from a genuine love for music and how it brings people together. I began DJing casually for friends and small events, which quickly turned into a passion. I fell in love with the energy of the crowd, the ability to read a room, and the creative challenge of mixing music live to create unforgettable moments.
As I gained experience, I realized there was a need for DJs who could cater to diverse, multicultural crowds — especially in weddings and private events where blending genres and respecting traditions is key. That’s when I decided to take things to the next level and start building WSE DJs. With a focus on professionalism, smooth MC work, and club-style mixing, I’ve grown the business into a trusted name for weddings and upscale events across Central Florida.
Today, I’m proud to lead a team of talented DJs who share the same values and commitment to excellence. Every event is personal to us, and we strive to create moments that reflect each couple’s style while keeping the dance floor packed from start to finish.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
When I moved to Orlando, FL in 2008, my English wasn’t exactly the best—“not very good looking,” as I like to joke. Spanish is my first language, so adapting to a new culture and language was a big step. While DJing came naturally, hosting and MCing events in English was a whole different challenge. But I embraced it, practiced constantly, and pushed through those early nerves. Over time, what once felt intimidating became one of my strengths.

Win Show Events a.k.a. WSE DJs is a professional DJ and entertainment company based in Central Florida, specializing in weddings, multicultural events, and private celebrations. Our focus is on creating high-energy, personalized experiences where music isn’t just background noise—it’s the heartbeat of the event.

Many of our clients come from diverse backgrounds, so we’re known for understanding how to balance traditional elements with modern energy. What were you like growing up?
I’ve always been an active and social person. Growing up, I played sports from a young age through high school, which helped me develop a strong sense of teamwork and energy. I naturally gravitated toward social gatherings and found myself drawn to the music that brought people together. Being immersed in so many events gave me an ear for what songs worked well together and sparked my passion for DJing. It helped me understand how to read a crowd, mix the right tracks, and create memorable experiences through music.
